Throughout the year, ‘special projects’ are created and frequently fundraising capabilities are needed to support them. The most recent to be approved by the Town is the Stone Bridges Project to restore our bridges in the style of the bridges built in Dr. Anderson’s day. (For more details on this project, refer to the 2025 Montreat Cottagers Newsletter included in the Newsletters portion of this website). Montreat Cottagers, Inc. is currently receiving donations for this project and work will start with the bridge on Lookout Road at Assembly Drive when the weather is amenable. 

You may support this effort by donating directly via this website below or by writing checks to MONTREAT COTTAGERS, INC. with “Stone Bridges Project” written in the memo line. You may enjoy the tax benefits by contributing to the Cottagers as we are a 501(C)(3) entity. Please give generously towards restoring an important historic feature of our town.
